
The Challenge – Luxury Champagne Packaging
We were tasked by Pernod Ricard Australia to create an engaging gift box pack for their French Champagne Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut. The luxury champagne packaging needed to be consistent with the brand’s global creative direction whilst also resonating with Australian consumers and meeting the merchandising requirements of national Australian liquor retailers.

Our Process – Luxury Champagne Packaging
When working on a new brief, we always start by doing a ‘deep dive’ into the brand. Mason Perrier-Jouët is rich in history, and the brand identity has a beautifully stylised aesthetic inspired by floral Art Nouveau imagery.
Our design team worked carefully to combine the beauty of the brand with the practical requirements of warehouse style liquor retailers in Australia. A priority for both the Australian brand team and the retail buyer was that the bottle and gift with purchase glassware be easily visible to consumers instore. The box also needed to function as protection for the two delicate glassware flutes inside.
These requirements were combined with the provisions of the global Pernod Ricard brand team, ensuring that the luxury pearlized finish, textured paper stock and print finishes all matched the bottle label and other promotions in the global market.

A dry, light bodied style of sparkling wine by prestigious Champagne house Perrier-Jouët. Immediately recognisable by it’s ornate Art Nouveau branding, the brand often collaborates with artists to create limited edition releases and luxury champagne packaging inspired by nature.
